Arcade Church

I can’t believe my first two weeks have blown by so quickly! Besides the Christmas season, there is probably not a crazier time for a new pastor to come on board than Easter. But in the midst of everything, it has been such a delight for Kirsten and I to meet so many gracious welcoming folks.  I love hearing the stories of how the Lord led many to Arcade over the years. Some came during Pastor Toms’ ministry and were impacted by his Bible teaching and preaching ministry. Some came during Daniel’s ministry at Arcade, were influenced deeply by the prayer ministry, and still continue to have a passion for prayer. Others have come more recently during pastor Cryder’s or pastor Jake’s ministry, drawn for many reasons.  Though the Lord has called me here as the interim senior pastor for this season I have no doubt He will continue to draw and enfold newcomers to the Arcade family.  It has been said that great churches feed and care deeply for those who call that church home while at the same time roll out the red carpet for those brand new.  I sense that spirit is in our church DNA and welcome all who will pray with me to that end in the weeks and months ahead!
