Welcome to Kid Connection at Arcade Church. We are committed to making your child’s experience exciting, safe and fun! We will provide them with the knowledge and the experiences that will connect children and families with God, thus giving them a desire to build a meaningful, life-long relationship with Jesus.
Classes are provided for all ages, newborn through 4th grade during both services. 5th and 6th grade classes are offered during first service only. We have a paid staff person who oversees our nursery. Volunteers have completed an application that includes interviews, background checks, and ongoing support and training.
0-3 years/Preschool

4-5 years/ Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
- KNOW – Jesus is God’s Son
- LOVE – Jesus loves everyone
- SERVE – Jesus shows us how to be a friend
1st through 6th Grade
- KNOW – Developing Faith (I can trust God no matter what)
- LOVE – Building Friendships (Treating others the way I want to be treated)
- SERVE – Forming Connections – (Making wise choices: Honesty, Resolving Conflict )
Events and Activities:
Teacher and Parent Bible Study - Tuesday nights from 6:45-8:00pm. Call the Children’s Ministry office at 916-972-1617 x123 for details.
Mom Connection - Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30am. Mom Connection is a Biblically based parenting program designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationships with their husbands and children.
L.Y.N.K.S. -Leading Youth Nearer To Knowing the Savior- An opportunity for children in the community to have a positive place to play and learn about building relationships and experiencing God’s love.
Open House - A night for parents and children to connect with each other and their Sunday School teachers.
Back To Sunday School Afternoon - Children and their parents will visit their Sunday School classrooms and connect with their teachers and fellow classmates. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the curriculum that will be taught that year.
Connect - Beginning in September 2008 on Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 PM. Children will learn God’s word, play games, and reach out to the community.
