Cole Harper helps adults of Arcade Church integrate their lives in gospel-community while equipping lay-leaders to do the same. Growing in Christ-likeness is a group project, not a solo assignment. But his job isn’t to show people that it’s true. It’s to show them it’s beautiful. Cole has a B.S. in Leadership and Church Ministry from Boyce College and an M.Div from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined the staff and the church in 2020.

Cole’s favorite Bible verse is Jonah 4:2, “And he prayed to the Lord and said,’O Lord, is not this what I said when I was yet in my country? That is why I made haste to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that you are a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and relenting from disaster.” He is new to Sacramento, but says that “Zocalo blew my mind, and I can’t stop thinking about the pork shoulder I ate there”. He loves to have Netflix marathons with the family on the weekends or plow through a good book. His favorite place to visit is an old medieval fortress in Stonehaven, Scotland called Dunnottar Castle. “It has no business being that beautiful.”
