Serving with the Sacramento Food Bank is a great opportunity for us to meet practical needs in our community. There are many families in the Sacramento area that are struggling to get by. We are going to help them by giving them a week's worth of food. The money saved can help them buy school supplies, clothes, or even help them with their rent. The Sacramento Food Bank relies on volunteers like you to stay in business. The last time Arcade Church helped with the Food Bank we had 30 volunteers. In just a few short hours, we were able to help process over 22,000 pounds of food, which help feed 1300 families for a week! The Food Bank was incredibly grateful.
