When did you start attending Arcade Church? When my family first came to America in 2005, we attended for a while. I remember sitting in the balcony and eagerly writing in the missing words from the sermon. I probably understood 10% of English at that time. Fast forward a few years and we came back to attending Arcade Easter of 2017.

Educational Background: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Sac State. 

Favorite Bible Verse: Matthew 11:29-30 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Favorite memory from your time at Arcade Church: Meeting my husband

Interesting facts or information about you: I was born in Uzbekistan and came to America when I was 6. I can faintly remember the taste of fresh bread, called lepeshka, that they would bake in these cave-like natural stone ovens called tandir. It was the best taste in the world.
